Infinite Medical P.C. in Lakeland, FL is seeking a part-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our care team.

You will provide comprehensive dermatology services, coordinate patient care with physicians and staff, and focus on compassionate, resident-centered treatment. The role requires active NP/PA licensure, DEA, CPR/BLS certification, and a nursing master's degree with dermatology experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA license and CPR BCLS certification.
• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well-being.
• Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medication and administer treatments.
• Conduct skin evaluations, including skin biopsies and wound care.
• Deliver person-centered care, ensuring resident comfort and safety.

Job Summary

As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with skin-related conditions. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans

• Diagnose and treat residents with a variety of skin conditions, ranging from acute to chronic and benign to malignant

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Dermatology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Fine motor skills for procedures. Lifting/moving patients.
