Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our rapidly growing medical team in Asheville, North Carolina. This part-time role requires 7–8 hours per day with typical hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, handling 20–25 patients per visit, and providing premier care within Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Compensation is $35–$40 per patient or $60–$65 per hour, with malpractice insurance coverage provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nurse Practitioner license and be eligible to practice in North Carolina.
• Dermatology experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home is preferred.
• D.O./M.D. or Dermatology-certified NP from an approved program is required.
• Experience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and implement treatments.
• Good interpersonal skills with elderly patients.
• BCLS or ACLS certification and DEA registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and patient observations.
• Record medical histories and symptoms.
• Create patient care plans and contribute to treatment plans.
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed.
• Diagnose health issues and coordinate with on-call physician.
• Administer medications and other treatments.
