The role requires EMR use, processing prior authorizations, managing calls and messages, assisting with biopsies, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Diploma or CNA diploma preferred.
• 1+ year of patient care experience preferred.
• Proficient verbal and written communication.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient calls regarding triage and pathology results.
• Check and respond to intramail/email.
• Process prior authorizations and refill requests.
• Schedule patient appointments and inform patients of results.
• Assist with biopsies/surgeries and injections.
• Maintain pathology logs and complete required documentation.
