Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
• Prior dermatology experience strongly preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
• Experience with medical scribing and electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Scribe in real time during patient visits, documenting histories, exams, assessments, and plans in the EHR.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical histories.
• Prepare patients and rooms for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers with dermatology procedures, including biopsies and excisions.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with instrument setup and breakdown.
