Dermatology of New Mexico is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our independent practice in Albuquerque. This full-time role supports physicians with patient care, procedures, and EMR documentation.

You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, assist in dermatologic procedures, manage paperwork, and help coordinate follow-ups. Our team emphasizes accurate records, compassionate service, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• Graduate from an accredited program as a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Possess and maintain a current CPR/BLS certification or obtain CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Greets patients in a friendly, courteous manner and escorts patients to exam rooms.
• Obtain the reason for the patient visit and review medical history.
• Chart in the EMR while the provider examines and counsels the patient.
• Assist in dermatologic procedures during the visit.
• Provide paperwork including wound care instructions, prescriptions, and lab requisitions.
