Mercyhealth Woodstock is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant in Dermatology to greet patients, room them, and prepare for examinations. You will assist with exams, lab procedures, triage, and coordinate referrals, with attention to chart accuracy and scheduling.

The ideal candidate will graduate from an ABHES or CAAHEP-accredited Medical Assistant program, hold CPR/BLS certification, and have comfort working in a fast-paced clinic environment. Mercyhealth offers competitive pay and benefits.

Competenze

• ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited Medical Assistant program required or equivalent accreditation.
• CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Clinical rotation experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Rooms patients, collects assessment data and prepares patient for examination.
• Assists in examination, treatment and other clinic procedures.
• Assists with laboratory procedures, screening tests and QI projects.
• Answering phones, triage, and directing callers; scheduling and reminders.
• Registering patients and maintaining accurate charts; coordinating referrals.
• Collects payments and issues receipts; maintains supplies.
