Job summary

Optima Dermatology is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our dermatology and medical aesthetics team in Stow, OH. The role supports exam rooms, patient vitals, injections, charting, and coordinating tests and referrals.

The position offers both part-time and full-time schedules with opportunities to work across multiple offices, reinforce patient care, and maintain strict confidentiality and safety standards in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Medical Assistant or nursing degree required.
• Dermatology experience preferred, with knowledge of EMA EMR.
• Strong patient communication and charting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies between patients.
• Escort patients, take vitals, document visit reasons and meds.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as minor surgeries and suture removal.
• Package specimens for outside lab and submit results.
• Schedule tests and coordinate referrals and test results.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety for patients and staff.
