Qualifications

• Must be licensed medical assistant or higher.
• Minimum of one year of dermatology office experience preferred.
• Capable of taking vitals and immunization procedures.
• Strong patient communication and charting skills.
• Familiar with EMA EMR or similar dermatology EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and maintain stock and supplies for procedures.
• Assist physicians with minor procedures and patient preparations.
• Record visit reasons, meds, and vital signs; prepare forms as needed.
• Coordinate tests, referrals, and lab orders with facilities.
• Communicate test results and care plans to patients and teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety standards.
