Western Piedmont Dermatology in Morganton, NC, is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team and support providers in delivering excellent patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or Medical Assistant certification, comfort with dermatology terminology, and strong communication and organizational skills. EHR proficiency and confidentiality are essential in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology, especially in dermatology.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and staff.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office applications is a plus.

What You’ll Do

As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our providers and play an essential role in delivering excellent patient care while keeping the practice running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
