QualDerm Partners LLC in Concord, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team and support patient care in a fast-paced dermatology practice. You will record vital signs, assist physicians during exams, conduct basic lab tests, maintain patient records, manage scheduling, and educate patients on treatment options and skincare.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Medical Assistant certification is preferred and prior clinical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology, especially in dermatology.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with patients and staff.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring necessary instruments are ready.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens for analysis.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Manage patient scheduling and office communication effectively.
• Educate patients on treatment options, medications, and skincare practices.
• Keep examination rooms clean and adequately stocked with supplies.
