Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support licensed practitioners in delivering patient care at Swedish First Hill in Seattle. The MA II handles tasks under delegation and is fully competent in clinical needs for the assigned clinic.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited medical assisting program or MA apprenticeship, plus Washington MA Certification on hire and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or MA apprenticeship
• Completed two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces
• Minimum one year MA experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration
• Washington MA Certification required on hire
• National Provider BLS (AHA) within 30 days after hire
• 6 months healthcare experience
• 6 months MA experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner
• Perform MA II duties as directed and in accordance with policies and regulations
