Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Medical Assistant II to support patient care under a licensed practitioner. You will perform MA I duties and be fully competent in clinical needs for the assigned clinic. Adherence to policies and regulations is expected as part of daily practice.

The role requires active MA credentials, hands-on training, and at least one year of MA experience with vital signs, injections, and medication administration, plus Washington MA Certification on hire and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training, MA apprenticeship, or equivalent military medical training.
• Minimum one year of MA experience with vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification required at hire; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as directed under a licensed practitioner to support patient care.
• Carry out MA I responsibilities; be fully competent for the clinic/location.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and regulations.
