Job summary

Schweiger is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Suffern office to support physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures. You will manage patient flow, document treatments, and ensure rooms are prepared for each visit.

Ideal candidates are healthcare-minded with strong communication and organizational skills; dermatology exposure preferred but not required. Hybrid team environment with varied hours and a focus on a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
• Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Open availability to work weekdays and weekends
• Dermatology experience preferred, healthcare background encouraged

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorizations and procedures
• Prepare rooms before and after patients and ensure equipment is in proper working order
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions to patients as needed
• Perform daily inventory checks and stock supplies as requested
