Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Elmer office. You will support physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, handling clinical and clerical tasks with a focus on patient care.

Ideal candidates have healthcare experience, EMR proficiency, and strong communication skills. Dermatology exposure is preferred; open weekday and weekend hours are required.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required or dermatology experience preferred.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere for patients and providers.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures and prescriptions within guidelines.
• Manage provider-to-patient flow and prep rooms before/after patients.
• Stock and check supplies/equipment; alert if low.
• Attend in-house trainings and education opportunities.
