QualDerm Partners in Charleston, WV is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team. You will prepare patients, assist physicians, perform basic lab tasks, and help maintain accurate records to support patient care.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication, confidentiality, and efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced specialty setting. Certification is preferred, and prior dermato-logy or EHR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dermatology.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures and ensure instruments are ready.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage communications.
