Qualifications

• Active CMA or CCMA credential required.
• Experience in dermatology, surgical, or specialty medical practice preferred.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist dermatologists and clinical staff with patient examinations and dermatological procedures.
• Perform clinical intake duties including vital signs, medical history documentation, and chief complaint review.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and stocking of supplies.
• Administer medications, injections, and topical treatments as directed by the provider.
• Support skin surgery procedures including biopsies, excisions, and wound care.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR system.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, skincare regimens, and post-procedure care instructions.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively between front and back office teams.
