Job summary

The University of Toledo’s Dermatology clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patient care under physician supervision. You will assist with clinical tasks, maintain patient flow, and contribute to a positive healthcare team environment.

Qualifications include an MA certificate or degree, CMA/RMA consideration, active BLS, and EMR experience preferred. Schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with on-call and travel aspects noted in some cases.

Qualifications

• Medical Assisting Diploma, Degree, or Certificate required. CMA/RMA certification may be considered with related credentials.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; Red Cross CPR for Professionals acceptable at hire.
• Ability to operate office equipment and maintain patient-care standards; continuation of education expected.
• EMR experience and ambulatory care nursing experience are preferred.
