Job summary

The MA II at Providence Swedish Medical Group supports licensed practitioners by performing delegated clinical tasks to assist in patient care. This role builds on MA I competencies and adheres to policies and regulations across the assigned clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes vital signs, injections, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties to assist in patient care.
• The MA II is fully competent in the MA I role and adheres to established policies and regulations.
