Job summary

Goodman Dermatology, a dermatology care provider, seeks a Lead Medical Assistant to oversee the nursing team at the Jasper location. You will manage workflow, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as the day-to-day clinical operations point person.

Collaborate with Providers, Medical Assistants, Front Desk staff, and Office Managers. Responsibilities include supervising staff, improving patient flow, handling supply orders, and driving quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years medical office experience preferred.
• 2 years supervisory experience in a medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical staff and coordinate with providers.
• Monitor real-time patient flow to minimize wait times.
• Order and maintain clinical supplies.
• Evaluate staff performance and coach as needed.
• Lead Medical Assistants to teamwork and task completion.
• Assist in training new staff and implement updated policies.
• Ensure logs and health inspections compliance.
• Handle patient satisfaction, triage, and resolutions.
• Travel between two locations as required.
