The successful candidate will be faculty in the residency program, engage in research, and demonstrate board eligibility/certification with a strong teaching commitment.

Job description

Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine is seeking an energetic full-time Academic Dermatologist to join the Department of Medicine located in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

The Dermatology clinical services are located at Loyolas Oak Brook Terrace, Burr Ridge, and Orland Park locations. These Dermatology specialty sites offer procedural services including five non-ablative lasers, Fraxel Dual Laser, Ulthera, micro needling, Mohs micrographic surgery, phototherapy, XTRAC laser, photodynamic therapy, and patch testing. The clinical practice serves a diverse patient population and includes surgical, cosmetic, and pediatric services as well as inpatient consultations.

The preferred candidates will serve as faculty in our ten-person residency program and will be active within our research unit.

Requirements include board eligibility/certification, strong commitment to teaching medical students and residents, and an interest in clinical or translational research.
