The Woodruff Institute in Bonita Springs, FL is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our dermatology and aesthetic care team. You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient demographics while ensuring HIPAA standards are met.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, experience with medical scheduling software and electronic medical records, and a demonstrated commitment to exceptional patient service in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with medical scheduling and EMR software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet all patients and visitors, in person or over the phones.
• Answer the phone with polite and professional etiquette.
• Register new patients and update demographics with detailed information.
• Coordinate patient flow and notify providers of arrivals and delays.
• Maintain waiting areas and ensure supplies and equipment functioning.
