Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Field Access Manager to support our dermatology portfolio across the Washington DC territory. In this role, you will educate providers on reimbursement and patient access, address barriers, and collaborate with healthcare organizations to ensure timely access to Takeda therapies.

You will lead field-based education for provider groups, hospitals, and specialty pharmacies, while staying current on policies and market trends to improve patient journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 5+ years field-based experience in account management, sales or medical affairs.
• Strong knowledge of the reimbursement landscape and the practice management environment.
• Ability to develop and execute account-based strategies to drive patient access outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in account management, relationship development, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers on reimbursement processes and patient access.
• Deliver field-based education to provider groups, hospitals, academic institutions, specialty pharmacies, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations to resolve reimbursement and patient access issues.
• Educate internal teams to address reimbursement and patient access scenarios effectively.
• Stay informed on healthcare policies, reimbursement trends, and regulatory requirements.
