TTUHSC Dermatology Department in Lubbock, TX, seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor to provide comprehensive dermatology care and contribute to education of medical students, residents and fellows.

The role includes clinical service, teaching, research opportunities, and collaboration with the VA. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, with a generous benefits package and a supportive, values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree.
• Dermatology residency completed or in progress.
• USMLE Step 3 completed.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients’ skin diseases, conditions, and ailments to determine appropriate treatment.
• Prescribe medication and create treatment plans when appropriate, monitoring patient progress.
• Inform and educate patients on available treatments and preventative skincare.
• Complete documentation of patient encounters.
• Mentor & teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Opportunity to work in the VA.
