University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix seeks a vice chair of education in the Department of Dermatology. The role leads educational strategy, directs a new dermatology residency, and mentors faculty and trainees to advance scholarly work and clinical excellence.

Clinical duties occur at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center with possible protected research time. Eligible candidates will have MD/PhD or MD, dermatology board certification, and a track record in education leadership.

Qualifications

• Hold an MD or MD/PhD degree from an accredited institution.
• Be board-certified in Dermatology.
• Be eligible for unrestricted medical license in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Guide development and execution of the department's educational strategy.
• Establish and direct a new dermatology residency program.
• Mentor faculty and trainees and build scholar collaborations.
• Collaborate with college, clinical and community stakeholders.
• Clinical activity at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center; research time possible.
