Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant from a nationally accredited institution.
• Completion of the Association of Certified Dermatology Technician Course or enrollment within one year.
• Phlebotomy and minor office procedures experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient information by interviewing patients and recording medical history.
• Prepares patients for examination and records vital signs (BP, weight, temperature).
• Scrubs for the provider during visits and assists with procedures such as biopsies and lesion treatments.
• Prepares and stocks examination rooms; cleans and sterilizes instruments; manages supplies.
• Assists with biopsies, minor surgeries, and dermatology procedures as needed.
