Mount Sinai Morningside's Dermatology Department seeks a Clinical Supervisor I to oversee and mentor clinical staff, assign workload, and assist leadership in policy implementation. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations and supports vaccine/injection administration and patient education.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a medical office with supervisory experience, plus NY licensure as an LPN or equivalent, and familiarity with EPIC or eClinical Works.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a medical office setting with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with vaccines/injectables and documentation.
• NY LPN licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical staff in assigned area and assists department management with day-to-day activities.
• Trains staff on clinical office protocols and techniques.
• Maintains patient immunization records, Coumadin registry, and administers vaccines/injectables.
• Assists providers with patient education.
• Assesses new staff protocols prior to performance appraisals.
• Assists with triaging, stocking supplies, and reordering clinical supplies.
• Assists with annual competencies and performance appraisals.
• Verifies adherence to quality improvement protocols.
• Helps improve workflows and processes.
• Resolves patient/family issues in the absence of the Practice Manager.
