Job summary

The Health Care Assistant in Dermatology assists clinicians and supports patient care across our dermatology clinics. The role includes preparing patients for exams, assisting licensed staff with procedures, and handling basic clerical tasks to ensure smooth clinic operation.

The position requires a valid Nursing Assistant certification or active RN program enrollment, with the RQI eCredential due within 30 days of hire, and adherence to CDC immunization guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential within 30 days of hire.
• Current CNA certification or enrollment in approved nursing education program; RN pathway with CNA if applicable.
• Immunization per CDC standards as required for patient-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist health care providers during patient examinations as requested.
• Prepare patients for examinations and record vital signs and medical history.
• Educate patients and families as directed by licensed staff.
• Maintain and clean clinical rooms and equipment; report supply needs.
• Document data related to direct patient care and communicate with clinic staff.
• May assist with scheduling, test results, and processing electronic requests.
