Job summary

Mercor is hiring experienced U.S. Dermatologists for a fully remote, non-clinical role that supports safe AI dermatology outputs. Your work will review high‑resolution skin images and help align model assessments with real-world standards.

Requirements include an MD with an active U.S. license, at least five years post‑residency dermatology experience, and English fluency. Prior image annotation or medical education experience is preferred. Compensation is paid weekly through Stripe or Wise.

Qualifications

• MD with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Minimum of 5 years post-residency dermatology experience.
• Ability to identify skin conditions and describe them precisely.

Responsibilities

• Review high-resolution clinical images of skin lesions and identify dermatological conditions.
• Describe images with key medical attributes such as color, shape, morphology, and distribution.
• Assess skin health, severity, or progression from images and validate AI assessments clinically.
• Write guidelines defining high-quality dermatological image assessments.
• Provide clinical insight to improve model understanding and classification.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to medical and project standards.
