Job summary

Mercor is seeking board-certified dermatologists to evaluate health AI models remotely in the United States. You will review de-identified patient charts, assess AI responses to dermatology questions, and document structured rationales on rigor, completeness, and safety.

The role is fully remote, paid hourly as an independent contractor, with start dates immediate and ongoing project opportunities. Requires US license, dermatology board certification, and 1+ year of independent practice

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified in ABD Dermatology through ABMS or AOA.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license.
• Residency complete, plus fellowship where your specialty requires one.
• Currently practicing and seeing patients in the US, with at least 1 year of independent practice after training.
• Clear written communication and close attention to detail.
• 3+ years of post-training experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI answers to dermatology questions for clinical accuracy, safety and alignment with current standards of care.
• Check each answer against the patient chart and decide which of two responses is stronger.
• Write structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and clarity.
• Flag errors that could compromise patient safety.
