Job summary

Optum Colorado is seeking a Dermatology Physician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This role includes outpatient dermatology, in-office procedures, and a supportive team in a busines-friendly setting.

You will diagnose and treat skin conditions, perform biopsies and light cosmetic procedures, and enjoy a strong referral base with a focus on work-life balance and professional development.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Colorado Physician (MD/DO) license or ability to obtain.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Dermatology.
• Current Colorado DEA certificate upon starting.

Responsibilities

• Initial consults and follow-up appointments; diagnose and treat skin conditions.
• Perform in-office procedures: biopsy, cryotherapy, excisions, electrodessication/curettage.
• Dedicated 1:1 support staff assisting daily tasks.
• Work-life balance with no call and no weekend coverage.
• Established dermatology practice with robust patient demand and referrals.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $358,000 - $701,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
