Optum CO is seeking a Dermatologist to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. As part of the Optum Care Delivery team, you’ll contribute to a vision to improve care for patients and communities, with a collaborative, inclusive environment.

This role focuses on general Dermatology with in-office procedures, biopsies, cryotherapy, and cosmetic options. A Colorado medical license, Board Certification in Dermatology, and Colorado DEA are required; open to new graduates.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Colorado Physician (MD/DO) License
• Board Certified Dermatology
• Current Colorado DEA certificate prior to start date
• Experience: Open to new graduates out of fellowship
• EMR proficient
• Demonstrated excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 40 hours per week. Create your own schedule within a 4-day work week
• Focus is for general Dermatology
• Initial consults, follow up appointments, diagnose and treat various skin conditions
• Perform in office procedures including biopsy, cryotherapy, excisions,electrodessication / curettage and other dermatological and light cosmetic procedures
• Average 4 patients per hour (15 min increments) including in office procedures with flexibility to schedule longer visits for complex procedures
