Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Dermatologist to assess, diagnose, and treat patients requiring specialized dermatologic care in eastern Massachusetts. You will work in a team-based model delivering high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse population.

Responsibilities include exams, care planning, collaboration, patient education, and contributing to health education programs. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Dermatology.
• Current active DEA licensure or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized dermatologic conditions.
• Develops and implements a care plan, including prescribing medications and therapies.
• Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to maintain continuity of care.
• Acts as liaison between primary care providers and dermatology specialists.
• Educates patients and groups on health care needs and specialty care.
• Participates in development of health education programs.
