Job summary

Central Jersey Medical Center in New Jersey is seeking a Dermatologist to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of skin, hair, and nail conditions while delivering personalized care. Cosmetic and procedural experience is highly valued.

The Dermatologist reports to the Chief Medical Officer and will participate in QA meetings and patient-focused improvement plans, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and continuing education.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Dermatology (or Family Medicine with Dermatology fellowship).
• NJ Medical License, CDS & DEA (where applicable).
• Cosmetic dermatology experience preferred.
• Proficient EMR usage (Athena).

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose skin disorders and diseases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform dermatologic and cosmetic procedures (biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions).
• Conduct skin cancer screenings and preventive care.
• Educate patients on skincare and healthy lifestyles.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate patient records per clinic policies.
• Stay updated on medical research and continuing education.

As a member of the Healthcare team, and lead by the Chief Medical Officer, the Dermatologist is vital to the successful completion of the organization goal. Each clinical team member receives performance measures and patient satisfaction results and is given the opportunity to participate in the development of a plan for improvement through regular QA meetings and or action plan development.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of skin, hair, and nail conditions while providing personalized care and maintaining the highest level of clinical excellence. Cosmetic and procedural experience is highly valued.

The Dermatologist is directly responsible to the Chief Medical Officer of Central Jersey Medical Center, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose skin disorders, diseases, and conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform dermatologic and cosmetic procedures (e.g., biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions).
• Conduct skin cancer screenings and perform preventive care
• Educate patients on skincare, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with clinic policies
• Stay up to date with medical research, advancements, and continuing education

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certified in Dermatology orBoard Certified in Family Medicine with Fellowship Training in Dermatology.
• Valid NJ Medical License. CDS & DEA
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Dedication to patient safety, confidentiality, and care quality
• Experience in cosmetic dermatology and laser procedures
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR-Athena) systems
• Interest in teledermatology or digital consultations (optional)
