It is also an urban teaching hospital with a rich history of training physicians and medical students, offering 18 residency and fellowship programs, including the nation's largest family medicine residency, in collaboration with the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Texas Christian University Medical School.

The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a full-time dermatologist to join our team. This department provides specialty services across JPS, with over 90 providers working at various locations including the main hospital, ambulatory surgery center, and community clinics. Our specialties include cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, nephrology, pulmonology, critical care, endocrinology, infectious disease, dermatology, and rheumatology.

Job Summary

Adult-only general and surgical dermatology at a single clinic located in central Fort Worth on the main hospital campus, just minutes from downtown. No call required, though inpatient opportunities are available if interested. The position uses EPIC EMR and Mmodal dictation, with potential AI-enabled scribe support in the near future.

Staff support includes one LVN per full-time dermatologist and a shared medical assistant, who handle patient callbacks, results, and prior authorizations.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completed residency in dermatology

Licenses and Certifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in Texas
