Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a Board-Certified Dermatologist for locum tenens coverage in Duluth, MN. The role is outpatient dermatology, performing biopsies, excisions, electrosurgery, cryosurgery, and dermabrasion as part of dermatologic care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
• Active MN license or willingness to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with benign and malignant skin disorders.
• Perform biopsies, excisions, electrosurgery, cryosurgery, and dermabrasion.
• Interpret tissue sections, cellular scrapings, and smears of skin lesions.
• Manage cosmetic skin disorders such as hair loss and aging changes.
• Provide in-clinic and virtual consultation for patients of all ages.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with benign and malignant skin disorders, sexually transmitted diseases, and other dermatologic conditions.
• Perform various dermatologic procedures including biopsies, excisions, electrosurgery, cryosurgery, and dermabrasion.
• Interpret specially prepared tissue sections, cellular scrapings, and smears of skin lesions.
• Manage cosmetic disorders of the skin such as hair loss, scars, and aging-related skin changes.
• Provide consultation for patients of all ages, excluding specific exclusions, in both in-clinic and virtual settings.
