Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a dermatologist to provide in-clinic and virtual care, performing procedures such as biopsy, excision, electrodesiccation and cryosurgery. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating skin conditions, with ongoing collaboration with housing, credentialing, and licensing teams.

The role includes a mix of in-clinic and virtual visits, with dedicated recruiter support to streamline all details and travel arrangements, and a focus on continuous availability for coverage

Qualifications

• Experience providing dermatology care and performing common dermatologic procedures.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat skin cancers, moles, and skin disorders.
• Perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsy, excision, electrodesiccation, and cryosurgery.
• Work in a mix of in-clinic and virtual visit settings.
• Coordinate with credentialing and housing teams as needed.

Job description

• Mon - Fri, 7:40 am - 4:40 pm, 9-hour shifts -- no holidays, no call
• 24 - 32 patients per shift with 15 - 20 minute appointments
• Mix of in-clinic and virtual visits
• Biopsy, excision, electrodesiccation, cryosurgery, dermatologic surgery required
• Diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, moles, and integumentary disorders
• Sclerotherapy, Botox, and tissue augmentation preferred but not required
• Ongoing coverage opportunity -- candidates with continuous availability preferred
