Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes site in Raynham, MA is recruiting for 10 Co-ops for the Spring 2027 cycle. These in-office positions cover five departments (Operations, End-to-End Project, BEX, and Manufacturing Systems) and offer diverse hands-on exposure in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Co-ops will contribute to process improvements, equipment validations, and engineering studies while partnering with senior engineers on cost-improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in SupplyChain, industrial Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in process, project, and / or quality activities across the manufacturing network
• Become involved in the day-to-day functions of a medical device manufacturing facility
• Develop a range of business documents including but not limited to validation protocols, engineering studies, and work instructions.
• Support senior engineers on various Business Continuity and / or Cost Improvement projects
• Create and analyze data related to manufacturing processes to recommend improvements or changes

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The Positions

DePuy Synthes is looking for 10 Co-Ops for the Spring 2027 cycle. The co-ops will be split among 5 different departments each with their own unique contributions to the site's value streams:

• 3 Co-Ops will be assigned to the Operations Department as part of the engineering support network that helps keep products flowing through the facility, as well as Manufacturing Process team to improve and optimize existing manufacturing processes
• 2 Co-Ops will support The End-to-End Project team with Engineering and Capital Equipment Projects such as equipment validations and New Product Introductions (NPI)
• 1 Co-Op will be assigned to the BEX Team to support the key continuous improvement programs for the site
• 3 Co-op will be assigned to the Operations Department across three value streams (Forming, Transforming, and Clean & Pack) that will help keep products flowing through the facility, as well as Manufacturing Process team to improve and optimize existing manufacturing processes
• 1 Co-Op will support our Manufacturing Systems team, as part of our Manufacturing Engineering organization

These are all In-Office positions and are not eligible for Remote or Hybrid work. A candidate's preference for a particular group will be noted but will not guarantee placement.
