Collaboration with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and federal partners is essential to align scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will guide technical strategy, oversee end-to-end delivery, and ensure adherence to government compliance and governance

Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Deputy Technical Manager (DTM) with a strong technical foundation to support a federal government client. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Salesforce along with demonstrated success leading delivery across complex Salesforce implementations. This role requires close collaboration with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and federal partners to ensure successful technical execution and solution alignment within scope, schedule, and budget expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery ofSalesforce-based solutionsfor federal clients
• Support technical solution planning alongside architects and development teams
• Drive discovery sessions and translate stakeholder needs into actionable delivery plans
• Oversee end-to-end delivery lifecycle including requirements alignment, build coordination, testing readiness, and deployment planning
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, QA, and client stakeholders
• Monitor delivery timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful execution
• Support architecture and solution alignment with Salesforce platform best practices
• Facilitate status updates and technical delivery checkpoints with stakeholders
• Ensure documentation such as requirements artifacts, solution approaches, and delivery tracking materials remain current and aligned
• Apply Salesforce delivery best practices withinfederal compliance and governance environments

Required Qualifications

• Strongtechnical Salesforce delivery background(not solely project coordination)
• Must have a hands-on Salesforce technical leadership background (e.g., Lead Technical Architect, Technical Lead, or Technical Manager)
• Experience supportingSalesforce implementations
• Experience working withinfederal government environments
• Ability to collaborate closely with architects and developers on solution direction
• Experience managing delivery across multiple stakeholders and technical teams
• Eligible to obtainPublic Trust clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Local and willing to perform onsite 3x/week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience serving as aProgram Manager, DTM, or Senior Project Manager
• Familiarity withSalesforce architecture concepts and integration patterns
• Prior exposure tofederal compliance frameworks and delivery environments
• Service CloudandExperience Cloud Experience- Strongly Preferred
• PMP certification preferred butnot required
