Responsibilities

• Testify in court
• Make a forcible arrest
• Search for and handle evidence/contraband
• Use a firearm
• Drive a county vehicle
• Perform law enforcement administrative duties such as writing reports and maintaining records
• Provide jail orientation and respond to inmate questions and requests
• Oversee access to attorney rooms and visiting areas
• Serve as a Superior Court bailiff and handle writs or processes
