Responsibilities

• Deputy Sheriff Trainee undergoes Academy training in preparation for appointment as a Deputy Sheriff.
• Assigned to custody or patrol after academy completion; perform duties as required.
• Respond to incidents, supervise inmates, transport inmates, and address law enforcement needs.
