Job summary

Applicants must be Florida certified or currently attending a Florida academy, be US citizen, at least 20, fluent in English, and have a valid Florida driver’s license. This role requires readiness for patrols and investigations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Must be at least 20 years old and a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid Florida driver's license prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrols and verify security of buildings; conduct security surveys and provide tips.
• Investigate incidents and enforce Florida statutes; interview witnesses, suspects, and victims.
• Make arrests, transport detainees, and coordinate with dispatchers; complete reports and maintain confidentiality.
