• Must qualify and requalify with service weapon(s) semiannually.

Responsibilities

• Preserve the peace and enforce Georgia laws; protect life and property.
• Maintain jail security and transport prisoners as assigned.
• Provide courthouse and courtroom security and serve warrants and civil papers.
• Adhere to safety, training, and driving policies; operate jail security systems.
