RSM US LLP is seeking a Deputy Government Relations Leader in the Washington DC metro area. This senior role supports the development and execution of the firm’s public policy strategy, serving as a key liaison with federal, state, and local government stakeholders.

The candidate will monitor policy developments, provide insights to client service teams, and advocate for middle-market priorities in collaboration with leadership and industry coalitions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; 12–15+ years in federal policy or government affairs.
• Significant Capitol Hill experience in senior roles (e.g., Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, Policy Director) or equivalent.
• Strong relationships with Members of Congress, committees, and key staff.
• Knowledge of lobbying laws, compliance requirements, and ethical standards.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute RSM’s government relations strategy aligned with firm priorities.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret legislative and regulatory developments impacting RSM and clients.
• Provide actionable policy insights to support client service, business development, and go-to-market strategies.
• Represent RSM in industry associations and coalitions; advocate for middle-market policies.
• Lead collaboration with lines of business to translate policy developments into business impact.
