Job summary

The Clark County Prosecuting Attorney is seeking a full-time deputy prosecuting attorney. This deputy prosecutor would be primarily responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor and Level 6 felonies.

Additionally, this deputy will be responsible for prosecuting OWI Causing Serious Bodily Injury and OWI Causing Death cases. The position requires working in a fast-paced and busy court with a team of three other deputy prosecutors on a daily basis to coordinate schedules and court duties.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and Indiana license to practice law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute misdemeanors and Level 6 felonies.
• Prosecute OWI Causing Serious Bodily Injury and OWI Causing Death cases.
• Coordinate schedules and court duties with a small team of deputy prosecutors.
