Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Deputy Project Manager in the New York area to lead 3rd party supplier activities and help manage complex signaling projects. You will oversee workload, budgeting, and resource allocation while collaborating with the Project Manager to handle scope and schedule changes.

Qualified candidates have 10+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, and strong communication and leadership skills. Experience in metro signaling (CBTC) is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Strong communication, planning, and strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3rd supplier activities.
• Manage workload and resource allocation for the project.
• Manage budget for the projects.
• Assist Project Manager in changes of scope, cost and schedule of project work.
• Assist Project Manager to assess resources needs on the project.
• Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions.
• Participate in corporate business development activities.
