Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning or related field.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible professional level planning experience or specific area of assignment.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted (6 years total).
• Valid driver's license (unencumbered).

Responsibilities

• Serve as deputy project manager on community planning projects and planning studies.
• Assist in oversight of and coordination with consultants.
• Conduct planning studies and supporting research on complex issues.
• Prepare clear planning reports, correspondence, and materials.
• Present findings to Planning Board, County Council, and other stakeholders.
