Job summary

BlueWater Federal Solutions seeks a Deputy Program Manager to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB on the BMx FoS contract. You will coordinate day-to-day program execution, oversee Agile operations, and manage CDRLs, governance, and reporting to sustain mission readiness.

Collaborating with RTE, POs, Scrum Masters, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, and SMEs, you will ensure modernization and migration stay aligned with government priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of program management experience.
• Experience supporting Agile software sustainment programs.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• PMP, SAFe Agilist, and/or ITIL Foundation certifications preferred.
• Experience with Agile delivery, governance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager with day-to-day execution and coordination of the BMx FoS contract.
• Manage program operations across Agile execution, staffing coordination, CDRL management, release governance, operational reporting, and customer engagement.
• Provide oversight of execution cadence, operational alignment, issue escalation tracking, staffing continuity, and ART performance across all BMx systems.
• Collaborate with Release Train Engineer, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, DevSecOps Platform Lead, Cybersecurity Lead, and SMEs to align modernization, sustainment, migration, and support with Government priorities and mission needs.
• Support risk mitigation activities, surge response coordination, transition planning, staffing governance, and operational metrics analysis.

Overview Bluewater Federal is looking for a Deputy Program Manager to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB. The Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems that enable global mission readiness and sustainment operations.
