Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to supervise day-to-day facilities maintenance, manage contracts, and ensure safe, compliant operations at our Guam location. You will coordinate with the PMO, lead multi-trade teams, and optimize service delivery to meet customer requirements, safety standards, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience managing facilities maintenance operations including preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Experience leading multi-trade teams and managing work order systems (CMMS/Maximo) in government or BOS environments.
• Five (5) years of experience managing services on contracts of similar size and complexity, including base operations, unaccompanied housing, or facilities programs.
• Strong knowledge of SCA, CBA, FAR, DFARS, and T&M contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and facilities maintenance activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and contract compliance.
• Oversee contractor personnel, operations, and service delivery in the PMO’s absence.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance prioritization, resourcing, scheduling, and timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Develop and monitor operational performance metrics, service levels, and customer-aligned goals.
• Lead daily operations meetings, status reviews, and customer engagements as the operational contact.
• Coordinate with supervisors and technical staff to prioritize and allocate work.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Support contract modifications and adjustments to meet evolving requirements.
• Assist with budget oversight, labor planning, and resource management.
• Collaborate with union leadership to administer the CBA and labor relations.
• Provide supervision of personnel and day-to-day workforce management.
• Ensure safety programs and regulatory compliance across maintenance operations.
• Serve as liaison between workforce, leadership, and customers.
