Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support the Product Data Systems Support (PDSS) program located at Robins Air Force Base. You will work closely with government stakeholders, Peraton leadership, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure program objectives, contractual requirements, and service level commitments are consistently achieved.

The role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant professional experience, or 15 years with leadership/management experience.
• Experience in financial and procurement management, HR, and strategic planning.
• Understanding of financial program performance, rate calculations, variance reporting, forecasting, and estimate to complete.
• Experience performing performance monitoring of contracts and SLAs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Supports Program Manager in execution and oversight of program activities, personnel, subcontractors, deliverables, and performance requirements.
• Works with government stakeholders, Peraton leadership, and subject matter experts to ensure objectives and service level commitments are achieved.
• Provides program management support including administrative oversight, timekeeping compliance, financial tracking, cost projections, inventory management, and personnel evaluations.
• Oversees achievement of operational service level objectives and performance metrics, including subcontractor performance.
• Assists in preparation and submission of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and other deliverables.
• Supports workforce planning, onboarding, and performance management.
• Provides leadership and guidance to program personnel, fostering a high-performing team environment.
• Helps identify and resolve risks, issues, and resource constraints to maintain schedule and performance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant professional experience, or 15 years of relevant professional experience with demonstrated leadership or management experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated experience in financial and procurement management, human resources, and strategic planning.
• Demonstrated understanding of financial program performance, including rate calculations, variance reporting, forecasting, and estimate to complete.
• Experience performing performance monitoring of contracts; including establishing and reporting on contractual service level agreements.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, exceptional professional attitude, and collaborative management style.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• The ability to obtain/maintain a DoD level Secret security clearance.
• The ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a hybrid on-site/remote work team.
• PLM systems experience.
• Active DoD level Secret security clearance.
• Recent DoD CAC (within the past two years).
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.

This person works closely with government stakeholders, Peraton leadership, and a multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts to ensure program objectives, contractual requirements, and service level commitments are consistently achieved.

The successful candidate excels in communications, collaboration, critical attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast, paced operational and leadership environment.

Additionally, the Deputy Program Manager will:

• Provide program management support including administrative oversight, timekeeping compliance, financial tracking, cost projections, inventory management, and personnel evaluations.
• Oversees achievement of operational service level objectives and performance metrics, including effective management of subcontractor performance.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and other program deliverables.
• Support workforce planning, personnel development, onboarding, and performance management.
• Provide leadership and guidance to program personnel, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
• Assist in identifying and resolving program risks, issues, and resource constraints to maintain schedule and performance objectives.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols, and technical documentation.
