Aotearoa Infinite Academy in New Zealand invites applications for a permanent, full-time Deputy Principal role with a teaching component starting Term 1, 2027. Lead coaching cycles, embed our school's theory of learning and assessment for learning practice schoolwide.

You will oversee the professional growth cycle and teaching as inquiry, lead PCT induction and the mentor programme, and manage staff PLD delivery and calendar with the Operations Manager. Competitive remuneration.

Qualificações

• Full practising teacher certificate required.
• Experience coaching or mentoring colleagues.
• Grounded in learning science and assessment for learning.
• Able to run a full-year professional learning and development programme with budget.
• Trusted by colleagues with constructive feedback capacity.

Responsabilidades

• Lead coaching cycles, live-session observations and walkthroughs.
• Embed learning theory and assessment for learning schoolwide.
• Oversee professional growth cycles and teaching as inquiry.
• Lead induction for beginning teachers and mentor programme.
• Own staff PLD plan, calendar and teacher‑only days.
• Manage Teaching Council certification endorsements and practicum liaison.
• Oversee PLD delivery and external bookings with Operations Manager.
